Refund policy

At Tert Kakao OÜ, we take great pride in offering high-quality chocolate products crafted with care and precision. Due to the perishable nature of our goods, special considerations apply to returns and refunds in accordance with Estonian consumer protection laws.

1. No Returns or Refunds for Perishable Goods

According to § 53 (4) of the Estonian Law of Obligations Act (Võlaõigusseadus), the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

“...the supply of goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.”

Chocolate and other food products fall under this category. Therefore, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for any of our chocolate products once they have been dispatched from our facility.

2. Exceptions – Damaged or Incorrect Orders

While we do not accept returns, we are committed to customer satisfaction. If your order arrives:

  • Damaged,

  • Incorrect, or

  • Missing items,

please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number,

  • A clear description of the issue,

  • Photographic evidence (if applicable).

We will review your case and may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

3. Delivery Refusals or Unclaimed Parcels

Failure to receive or collect your order does not entitle you to a refund. Since our products are perishable, orders that are returned to us due to unsuccessful delivery attempts will be discarded and are not eligible for reshipping or refunds.
